The eVic-VT is their higher-end mod kit, a 60-watt device with temperature control capable of supporting both Nickel (Ni200) and Titanium (Ti1) coils. Released a few months ago, the kit comes in sporty colours that may remind you of your favourite cars, including Racing Yellow, Dazzling White and Cool Black, and has been one of the most popular kits on the market.
Now Joyetech have taken the specifications of the eVic-VT and packed them into a tiny little body that’s far more compact for on-the-go vaping. And not only that – they’ve added more features!
The eVic-VTC Mini comes with 75 watts of power either right off the bat or through a firmware upgrade. It also features support for Stainless Steel coils in temperature control mode in addition to the Nickel and Titanium. Furthermore, it’s got a Bypass mode for those who want to use it like a mechanical mod.
The device takes a single 18650 battery and has a large, easy to read OLED display screen that gives you all the information you could ever ask for – which mode you’re running in, the temperature, wattage, voltage, amps, coil resistance, and a puff counter and puff timer.
How does it vape?
In wattage mode the eVic-VTC Mini vapes exactly as you’d expect it to – it hits hard and fast and provides an excellent vape. It will fire coils all the way down to 0.1 ohms but you’re best vaping in the 0.2-0.25 or above range when you’ve got 75 watts to work with.
In temperature control mode we found the eVic-VTC Mini to hit very much on-par with the much more powerful Koopor Plus 200W and Sigelei 150W TC mods. Sometimes there’s a little ramp up time as the device heats the coil to the desired temperature, but not with the eVic-VTC Mini. At 75 watts it hits immediately up to even the high-500s (in Fahrenheit), then tapers off into a nice, smooth vape.
One of the best things about how this device vapes is not anything to do with its performance, though. In your hand, the eVic-VTC Mini feels amazing. It’s small and discreet, it’s easily pocketable, and you can literally take it anywhere. We think it’s the perfect pick-up-and-go vape!
The eVic-VTC Mini started as a 60-watt device, but has been upgraded to 75 watts through firmware updates. If your device is not 75 watts, you can update your firmware here.
