Aspire is often overlooked when it comes to talking about the bigger vape manufacturers, including KangerTech, Joyetech and Eleaf. But the truth is, Aspire has been a constant innovator for a number of years now, and continues to be.
From the ever-popular Nautilus and Nautilus Mini through to the new Nautilus X standard tanks, and from the game-changing Atlantis sub-ohm tank through to the Triton and now the Cleito, Aspire have always produced quality products.
We now see what could be the best device they’ve ever released, the K4 Quick Start Kit. Combining their carbon fibre battery technology with a Cleito tank with its own special-built coil, from first vape to last this kit is as perfect as we’ve ever seen.
The CF battery has a large 2000 mah capacity, which for most people will be enough for a full day of vaping. The Cleito is a 3.5ml top-filling tank, and in the K4 Quick Start Kit it comes with a pre-installed 0.27 ohm coil. This runs between 40-60 watts depending on battery charge. The battery itself works as a regulated mechanical mod, dropping in voltage as battery charge drops. At full charge, it’s noticeably more powerful than later in its charge cycle.
How does it vape?
We set up the K4 to ‘check it out’, as we do with all new devices, and see if it was good enough to find a place in our shop’s product lineup. We filled it with juice, and let it sit for 15 minutes to prime the coil. On first vape, the device prompted one of us to say “that’s the best vape I’ve ever had.”
Such high praise, but it’s earned. With three airflow control holes, you can customise the experience to however you’d like it. The coils are quick to break in, the airflow is ample, and the flavour from the Cleito is among the best on the market today. The pen-style battery is comfortable, and looks great. Since that first day, we’ve all been hooked on the kit and use them daily. It truly is one of the best devices out there, and its ease-of-use makes it easy to recommend to starters after a big inhale.
If you’re an experienced vaper and turned off by the pen-style in-built battery, we’d recommend you at least give the K4 a shot. We think you’ll find a very well-made product that rivals even more expensive mod/tank combos for cloud and taste.
